Terms of use
The rules for using saqf, for visitors and sellers alike.
Updated October 2, 2026
1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of saqf, a website and mobile app for real-estate listings in Morocco. By using the service, you accept them.
saqf is in beta. The Moroccan company that will publish it is being incorporated; its name, registered office, RC and ICE will be published in the privacy policy as soon as it is registered. For any question, request or complaint: [email protected].
2. saqf's role
saqf connects sellers, landlords and agencies with buyers and tenants. We are not an estate agent, not an intermediary acting under mandate, and not a party to transactions between users.
We do not visit properties and do not check title deeds. We guarantee neither the accuracy of a listing, nor the availability of the property, nor the solvency of the parties.
3. Account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- The account is created with a phone number or an e-mail address and a one-time code. There is no password.
- Use a number or address you control, and keep your information up to date.
- An account is personal; you are responsible for what is done from yours.
- You can delete your account at any time from your account.
4. Publishing a listing
By publishing a listing, you declare that you are entitled to offer the property, and you guarantee that the information and photos are accurate.
Listings are forbidden if they:
- concern a property that does not exist, is unavailable, or that you cannot dispose of;
- show a misleading price or hide fees;
- reuse someone else's photos or text without permission;
- are published twice, or are used for anything other than selling or renting a property;
- contain discriminatory, insulting or unlawful content;
- contain personal data about third parties.
Every listing is reviewed by our team before it is published. We may refuse it, with a reason given to its author. A listing stays online for 60 days, then expires; you can renew it. A listing renewed less than 30 days after its last approval, with no change to essential information, goes back online without a new review.
5. Listings from other websites
Some listings are taken from other real-estate listing websites. They carry the label “Imported from” followed by the website's name, and a link to the original listing. They are published without prior review and removed when the original listing disappears. They can be reported like any other listing.
If you are the author of an imported listing and want it removed, write to [email protected] with the listing's link: we will remove it.
6. Your content
You remain the owner of your texts and photos. For as long as your listing is shown and for the needs of the service, you allow us to host, display, resize and translate them into the website's languages.
When a machine translation is shown, the version written by the listing's author prevails.
7. Exchanges between users
- Stay on saqf's messaging until you know the person you are dealing with.
- Never pay a deposit, “application fee” or guarantee before visiting the property and checking the other person's identity and title.
- Commercial solicitation of other users through the messaging is forbidden.
- Report any suspicious listing: the report button is on every listing.
8. Moderation and suspension
We may remove a listing, or suspend or delete an account, in case of a breach of these terms, fraud, a well-founded report or a legal obligation. A suspended account can no longer sign in, publish or send messages. Every decision is recorded.
To contest a decision, write to [email protected].
9. Prices
During the beta, saqf is entirely free: creating an account and publishing listings cost nothing, and no paid option is offered. If paid services are introduced later, their prices and terms will be published before any order.
10. Availability and liability
saqf is in beta: features may change, and the service may be interrupted, in particular for maintenance. We do our best to keep it available and accurate, without being able to guarantee it free of errors.
We are not responsible for the listings published by users or for the transactions between them. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
11. Personal data
How we process your data is described in our privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Moroccan law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence.
In case of disagreement, write to [email protected] first: we will look for an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts.
13. Changes
These terms will change with the service. The date of the last update is at the top of the page, and important changes will be pointed out to you in the app.
